Founded in 1951 by a McKinsey partner, Henry Wardwell Howell, Ward Howell International, rebranded Signium International in 1998, was one of the first management consulting firms to focus solely on senior level executive search. Signium was one of the founders of the AESC - Association of Executive Search Consultants – and assisted in the development of the Professional and Ethical Standards for our sector, standards which we conscientiously maintain to this day.
With more than 150 consultants in 43 offices strategically distributed in 27 countries in EMEA, the Americas and Asia, Signium International is a leader in the profession and one of the top 20 firms in the World. We make sure that each of our local firms adheres to the best standards of the profession and approaches executive search as an extension of management consulting, which was the root of our business more than half a century ago.
